Merlin Nyakam: Master of African and Afro-Contemporary dance, born in Cameroon and currently lives in Paris where he travels around the world teaching and performing.
Adama Dembele Bilorou: Legendary percussionist from Paris.
Salif Lasso Sanou: Montreal-based African flute specialist.
Akra Soumah: Ottawa-based dundunfola (African base drum player).
Naby Camara: Master balafonist was born in Guinea and currently lives in Seattle. (ISSAMBA 2019)
Mamadou Diabate: world-renowned balafonist (African xylophone) player who was born in Burkina Faso. He tours worldwide but currently lives in Austria, where he’s been honing his art to perfection. (ISSAMBA 2018)
