Join us for a virtual town hall meeting featuring black artists across the country as we discuss the impact of race in the arts and media.


This online event will be held live, Monday, August 24 at 7pm PST on Zoom.

Issamba Centre is a hub for People of African origin and of African descent, and a gateway for engagement with Africa and the Caribbean. We are the only African Descent Centre in BC, and are proud to be the first on Vancouver Island.


The ISSAMBA CENTRE is a new project run by The African Arts & Cultural CC Society founded by Pulchérie Mboussi.


AACCC is a small non for profit Community Contributor organization with a clear mandate to advance awareness and understanding of the richness and diversity of African and Caribbean cultures and traditions.


Our Mission is to provide culturally appropriate services that enriches the lives of the African, Caribbean and all the people of African Descent (ACPAD) communities in the CRD region, Vancouver Island, Greater Vancouver area and Canada at large.


We need your support to achieve our mandate. This be done by volunteering or just by donation as every donation goes towards very specific elements crucial to our mission while ensuring that programs and services are shared through our community by reaching as many people as possible. .
