Local radio station CFUV 101.9FM is a member of the Community Partnership Network. They are currently looking to reach out and recruit two (2) local Journalists who will be responsible for creating news content serving our Middle Eastern and Afro-Caribbean communities in Victoria, BC. This is an exciting opportunity to amplify and share the voices of under-represented communities on the airwaves!
These positions aim increase diverse news coverage and reporting within those communities as part of a national initiative towards diversifying news and providing more accessible coverage. The positions are open to partial work-from-home/remote work situations. Some on-location work may be required.
